Introduction about the SPIN project
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is the most common war-related psychiatric disorder occurring among combat veterans and other people exposed to war‑zone stress. General objective of the SPIN project (studies on ptsd in integrated networks) is to better understand the biological basis of psychophysical profiles of PTSD patients. This project is funded by the Auropean Community and aims at better understanding of the repationship between psychological and biological factors in PTSD.

The project started october 2004 and will run for three yeas, october 2007. Participating sites and contact persons can be found elsewehre on this site.
